Logical Model Ltd's Sample PRINCE2® Materials
Sample PRINCE2® foundation and practitioner exam preparation materials. Presented with a little humour (where we can! - see below) to lighten an intense topic. Our materials also include sophisticated techniques to aid comprehension and retention of the subject matter (See the next heading for some details) & optionally we provide live support for exam preparation at reasonable fee levels: contact us on 0845 2 57 57 07 or mail-us - but do edit-out the anti-spam phrase.
The links on the left are a complete set of training materials. They give a solid, complete survey to everything that PRINCE2® contains. If you wish to evaluate what our PRINCE2® materials are all about then start with the concepts section to the left (your currently at [i Our Approach] ). Follow the links in the sequence presented. In-class materials are animated to evolve the story-line in bite-sized chunks.
Logical Model Ltd is an ATO (Approved Training Organisation) authorised to administer the PRINCE2® Registered Practitioner (and Foundation) exams. Our other courses are listed from the link on our home page.
We aim to exploit what we can to make learning easier. Learning is aided by several things:
One is a little humour (the characters below portray roles present in a PRINCE2®project in - hopefully an amusing manner)
Things that are unusual or striking stick in the memory (our characters are mostly 'alien')
Themes and sequences (Golden Balls, Drop a few balls, Drops all the balls, No Balls, One ball at a time)
Links to ideas already understood (Golden implies seniority or excellence, One-at-a-time implies junior or starting out) - Visit the Vegetable Soup link (# vii) for another illustration - but perhaps wait till you arrive there by following the links i-ix in Concepts)
Repetition (but that isn't illustrated here and other ideas also not listed here but embedded within course materials)
The links on the left of this frame-set take you through our PRINCE2® course materials. If you read them all you will have a solid understanding of our 2005 offering and insight into the standard of 2009 offerings - your students will have a sound grounding in what PRINCE2® is all about.
If you follow the materials through the links on the left then you'll find ideas like CoPM are explained on first encounter, that the project board is fully explained before being referred to in the manner of this illustration. For now note that the Exec has golden balls, the supplier drops them all [at some point], the users have none and team managers are allowed to play with one at a time.
